Dr Sidhu is a gastroenterologist and advanced therapeutic endoscopist with a special interest in the endoscopic treatment of early GI cancer. Dr Sidhu completed his training in general gastroenterology in 2017 and received a fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at Westmead Hospital under the supervision of the world-renowned therapeutic endoscopist, Professor Michael Bourke.
He also completed his PhD during this time and led the publication of several large prospective and randomised trials focusing on developing new endoscopic techniques for the treatment of early GI neoplasia. Dr Sidhu has published extensively in national and international peer-reviewed journals, receiving international recognition for his work. He is also a regularly invited speaker and contributor at national and international endoscopy meetings.
Dr Sidhu has continued his dedication to clinical research at Concord Hospital and is the principal lead of two large prospective trials focusing on the resection of large polyps in the colon.

- General gastroenterology – FOBT, Bowel cancer screening, polyp surveillance, IBS, Reflux/GORD, Barrett’s Oesophagus
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
- Treatment of early GI cancers – oesophagus, stomach and colon
- Treatment of small bowel bleeding
